This is my first post-birthday post and apparently wisdom comes with age, so let me start off with saying something fashionably profound (if that makes sense):
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.
Okay, I stole that from Audrey Hepburn, but whose taking notes, right?
This weekend amounted to pure bliss, as we celebrated one of my best Friend’s 21st birthday too. I happily gave up the day to attend her celebrations, she’s just special like that. From speeches…and speeches…to dancing to that annoying, yet catchy “Call Me Maybe” song, we had an absolute blast.
Rumour has it, the coolest people are born in July!
